Sarah and Ben actually met because of bagpipes (that's a story for another time). So it's fitting that they have joined their musical talents to play celtic music. She happens to have three cats - Boyd, Finnegan and Fergus - who all purr with Scottish accents.

In addition to Sassanach, she has also recorded with Little Gray House. She has a Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance from the U of MN-Duluth. She has played flute and piccolo in the Twin Ports Wind Orchestra since 1997. In true musician fashion she earns a living doing something entirely different - carrying mail for the US Postal Service.
